The Cargo Van is one of the more popular rental truck options at Home Depot. It has closed cargo space to keep your belongings safe and sound without drastically limiting the total amount of cargo it can carry per trip. Just be mindful that the closed back means you may have to lie tall items—i.e., refrigerators, bookshelves—flat in the cargo space.

I can’t give you a definitive answer to this question since the cost of renting a Home Depot truck may vary from place to place. In addition, competitors in your area may differ from those in mine. However, I will tell you this: there are ways to get good deals on rental trucks if you know where to look.
2. Do I need to stop my Home Depot rental truck at a weigh station?
The short answer to this question is no, you don’t. You can read a more descriptive answer from the helpful folks at Moving. When in doubt, you should stop at a weigh station. The attendants there might laugh at you for wanting to weigh your non-commercial vehicle, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
