Calculating European Sizes
Again, different clothing manufacturers follow different sizing standards. However, based on the Dress Shirt Chart above, we can figure out a simple formula to find the correct shirt size for anyone.
The formula is as follows:
Size = Chest Circumference ÷ 2 centimeters
For instance, if the circumference of your chest measures 95 centimeters (37.4 inches), then we can find the correct shirt size by inputting this number into the formula.
Size = 95 centimeters ÷ 2 centimeters
- Size = 47.5
- Size = 48 (rounded up)
