When it comes to cold brew coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts has some of the best and most potent options on the market. But whether you’re a fan of iced drinks or steaming-hot ones, there’s a little bit of something for everyone at Dunkin’ Donuts. The only question is, what size cup are you going to get?
Dunkin’ Donuts offers different-sized cups based on the temperature of the drink. Hot drinks are sold in 10, 14, 20, and 24-ounce cups, whereas iced coffees come in 16, 24, and 32-ounce cups.
Today, I’ll go into greater detail regarding the different sizes of Dunkin’ Donuts cups, how they differ from Starbucks cup sizes, and how much caffeine you’ll find in a cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.
Dunkin’ Donuts Cup Sizes
American coffee and doughnut chain Dunkin’ Donuts LLC (also stylized as D Dunkin’ and abbreviated as DD) is a subsidiary of the giant restaurant franchisor, Inspire Brands. Dunkin’ is one of the largest and most well-known coffee and donut chains in the world, with around 12,900 locations in 42 countries.
Size specifications for Dunkin’ Donuts cups are simple. They are available in a range of sizes, from small to extra-large. The volume of both hot and cold beverages varies with cup size.
Coffee beans are best brewed with hot water rather than cold. Hot beverage drinkers will have to settle for smaller cups than their cold beverage drinking counterparts. There is a greater variety of cup sizes available for hot beverages, while larger sizes are used for cold drinks. Below, you’ll find a comparison of the cup sizes for the two beverages.

Dunkin’ Donuts vs. Starbucks Cup Sizes
Like Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks’ cold drinks are available in larger cup sizes compared to its hot-brew varieties. But unlike Dunkin’, Starbucks has a unique naming system for their cup sizes. if you’ve ever tried ordering a “large” coffee at Starbucks, you know what I’m talking about.
The following chart will describe the size disparities between both coffee chains.

|Small (hot)||10 oz. / 296 ml||Demi (hot)||3 oz. / 89 ml|
|Medium (hot)||14 oz. / 414 ml||Short (hot)||8 oz. / 237 ml|
|Large (hot)||20 oz. / 591 ml||Tall (hot)||12 oz. / 355 ml|
|XL (hot)||24 oz. / 710 ml||Grande (hot)||16 oz. / 473 ml|
|Venti (hot)||20 oz. / 591 ml|
|Small (cold)||16 oz. / 473 ml||Tall (cold)||12 oz. /355 ml|
|Medium (cold)||24 oz. / 710 ml||Grande (cold)||16 oz. /473 ml|
|Large (cold)||32 oz. / 946 ml||Venti (cold)||24 oz. / 710 ml|

The price of your drink varies from item to item. If you take a look at the basic cup of coffee, hot or cold, you’ll have to pay the following:
Does It Cost More to Order No Ice for Iced Beverages at Dunkin’ Donuts?
Yes, you do. To the average customer, it might seem odd to fork over more money since you’re asking for no ice, but in reality, the barista has to make up the difference in the cup by adding more of the drink. You’ll also have to pay more to order less ice with your drink.
According to one Reddit user, the additional cost for ordering no ice with an iced beverage at Dunkin’ is $1.25. When you consider how much more of the drink you’re getting, this is actually a minor discount.
But if you want to be tricky and save a buck and change, try ordering an iced drink at Dunkin’ Donuts with ice on the side. The barista will fill your cup to the brim with your drink but place the ice in a separate cup. You’ll be charged for the extra cup, which is only a few cents.
