Does It Cost More to Order No Ice for Iced Beverages at Dunkin’ Donuts?
Yes, you do. To the average customer, it might seem odd to fork over more money since you’re asking for no ice, but in reality, the barista has to make up the difference in the cup by adding more of the drink. You’ll also have to pay more to order less ice with your drink.
According to one Reddit user, the additional cost for ordering no ice with an iced beverage at Dunkin’ is $1.25. When you consider how much more of the drink you’re getting, this is actually a minor discount.
But if you want to be tricky and save a buck and change, try ordering an iced drink at Dunkin’ Donuts with ice on the side. The barista will fill your cup to the brim with your drink but place the ice in a separate cup. You’ll be charged for the extra cup, which is only a few cents.
